A
native of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, Kathy has been married for 12
years and is the mother of 3. Since 2002, Kathy has been working
with clay and creating the perfect keepsake of hands and feet
in her home studio. Her unique, artistic approach, and quality
has captured the attention of clients internationally. Original
designs of Custom Clay Prints by Kathy Taylor can be seen
in homes throughout the United States and in other countries.
In 2004, with growing interest from clientele, Kathy began Clay
Print Training and has kept busy with those who have an
interest in home studios as well as PYOP studios. Currently, she
is supporting students nationwide with ongoing classes, improving
their success with Custom Clay Prints. "Nothing excites
me more than to see my students complete beautiful clay print
art, whether it is simple, classic, or custom, says Kathy."
Kathy sits on the board of Share Hope Inc., a nonprofit organization
serving those who have suffered loss of a child. With a passion
and desire to give back to her community, Kathy has been involved
in fundraising for the past five years, donating her clay print
art for auctions.
In 2004, Kathy founded Impressions For The Heart, a program
where a clay print is given to parents who are grieving the loss
of a child during pregnancy, terminal illness, or accidental death.
"It's not a job, it's a privilege and honor," says Kathy.
